Essential Policies for Your Dave Koz and Friends at Sea Adventure

Before setting sail, take a moment to review the key policies that guide your Dave Koz & Friends at Sea experience. These terms cover important details such as booking procedures, payment and cancellation policies, travel documentation, entry requirements, onboard conduct and refund or change guidelines.

They’re designed to keep everything running smoothly—for you, for our artists and crew and for the community that travels with us. Please read them carefully before your voyage so you know exactly what to expect from start to finish.

Full-Ship Charter • Holland America Line

1. INTRODUCTION

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. They outline all rules, fees, policies, and penalties that apply to the 2027 Dave Koz & Friends at Sea cruise.

By booking a stateroom, You acknowledge and accept all Terms & Conditions contained herein.

This is a privately chartered cruise. These Terms supersede Holland America Line's retail policies.
All payments are non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

2. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions (“Contract”) form the complete agreement between You (“Guest”) and:

  • Redwood Travel Partners LLC

  • Dave Koz & Friends at Sea

  • Bridgeway Entertainment

  • IAG & W.F. Leopold Management

  • All affiliated agents, employees, successors, and contractors

This Contract supersedes all previous verbal or written statements, advertising, emails, online information, and promotional materials.

By booking, paying for, or traveling on this cruise, You agree to all provisions herein.

3. CHARTER TERMS VS. CRUISE LINE TERMS

Because this is a full-ship charter, any conflict between:

  • these Terms & Conditions
    and

  • the Holland America Line Passenger Contract

will be governed by this Charter Contract, including but not limited to:

  • pricing

  • payments

  • cancellations

  • refunds

  • transfers

  • loyalty programs

  • amenities

  • entertainment

Only amenities and policies published by Dave Koz & Friends at Sea / Redwood Travel Partners apply.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE POLICY

THIS IS A 100% NON-REFUNDABLE CHARTER.

All payments—including deposits, monthly payments, and final payment—are non-refundable under all circumstances, including:

  • illness or injury

  • family emergencies

  • travel delays or missed flights

  • pregnancy

  • financial hardship

  • schedule conflicts

  • documentation or passport issues

  • any personal reason

Funds are also non-transferable to another cruise year or event.

Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase Travel Insurance immediately after depositing.

5. WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • Stateroom accommodations

  • Main dining meals

  • Onboard gratuities

  • All concerts, shows, and events produced by DKAS & Bridgeway Entertainment

Not included: specialty dining, spa, drinks, Wi-Fi, excursions, and all other purchases unless specified.

All itineraries, performers, and schedules may change without notice.

6. ARTIST & PROGRAMMING DISCLAIMER

All entertainment, artists, events, and activities are subject to change.
Artist substitutions, schedule adjustments, venue changes, and programming modifications do not entitle Guests to refunds, credits, or compensation.

7. STATEROOM DEPOSITS

Deposits are required per person, based on double occupancy:

  • $550 Interior

  • $650 Ocean View

  • $750 Veranda

  • $850 Suites

All deposits are non-refundable.
Credit card payments only.

8. THIRD & FOURTH GUEST PRICING

Available in limited staterooms.

  • $850 Interior

  • $1,050 Ocean View

  • $1,750 Veranda

  • $1,950 Suites

Pricing excludes taxes, port fees, and gratuities.

9. SHARED FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (ROOMMATES)

Staterooms must be paid at minimum double occupancy.

If multiple Guests share financial responsibility:

All Guests MUST remain current on payments.

If any Guest:

  • becomes late,

  • provides an invalid credit card, or

  • is more than 5 days past due,

then:

  • the entire reservation is considered delinquent,

  • all Guests will be notified,

  • the reservation may be canceled at the Charterer’s discretion,

  • all funds paid by any Guest will be forfeited.

Roommate disputes are not the responsibility of the Charterer or Holland America Line.

10. PASS-THROUGH CHARGES, TAXES, GRATUITIES & ADMIN FEES

Pass-Through Charges—set by the cruise line, the Charterer, the travel agency, and/or government authorities—include:

  • Port fees

  • Government taxes

  • Harbor & security fees

  • Prepaid gratuities

  • Administrative fees

These charges currently total:

$589.96 per person (based on double occupancy)

Pass-Through Charges may increase at any time. Guests are responsible for any increases imposed after booking.

Additional administrative fees may apply for:

  • name changes

  • payment issues

  • reservation corrections

  • research requests

  • guest-service actions requiring manual intervention

11. MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN (REQUIRED)

A full deposit is due at booking.

Monthly payments begin January 18, 2026 and process on the 18th of each month, concluding January 18, 2027.

  • Payment dates cannot be altered

  • A valid credit card must remain on file

  • $35 late fee applies after 5 days

  • Accounts 60+ days delinquent may be canceled with full forfeiture

Payment plans cannot be paused.

12. RESERVATION CHANGES

  • Name changes: $100 per person

  • Downgrades to lower-priced staterooms are prohibited

  • All funds are non-transferable

13. CANCELLATION POLICY

All deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable.

Any approved reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of:

  • the full deposit, plus

  • 10% of all payments made

Partial cancellations are not permitted.
All financially responsible Guests must agree in writing for a cancellation request to be processed.

No refunds will be issued for illness, emergencies, travel delays, employment issues, personal reasons, or documentation problems.

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

14. SELLING / TRANSFERRING A RESERVATION

Sellers must provide their reservation number.
Both parties must email: info@redwoodtravelpartners.com

  • All previously paid funds remain on the reservation

  • Seller must collect reimbursement directly from buyer

  • $100 name-change fee applies per person

  • New Guests must create an online account

  • Payment plan cannot be paused

Transfers may be limited or denied at Charterer’s discretion.

15. TRAVEL INSURANCE

14-Day Deadline for Best Coverage

Guests should purchase travel insurance within 14 days of deposit for the broadest coverage, including possible pre-existing condition benefits.

Insurance purchased after this window may exclude pre-existing medical conditions.

All payments for this charter are non-refundable.
Purchase of travel insurance is strongly advised.

16. CHILD POLICY

Dave Koz & Friends at Sea is a family-friendly charter, and children are welcome onboard.

Children Under 18

  • Charged full cruise fare

  • Must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian over 18

  • Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for minor guests

Infant & Minimum Age Requirements

  • Minimum age: 6 months on embarkation day

  • If itinerary involves remote ports or more than 2 consecutive sea days: 12 months minimum

Infant Charges

  • Children under age 2 pay port fees and taxes only

Additional Requirements

  • Minors must present proper documentation

  • Certain venues may restrict under-18 guests per Holland America policy

17. PREGNANCY POLICY

  • Guests cannot enter their 24th week of pregnancy before or during the cruise

  • A doctor’s letter is required for all pregnant Guests stating:

    • due date

    • pregnancy is not high-risk

    • Guest is fit to travel

  • Failure to provide documentation may result in denied boarding with no refund

18. ACCESSIBILITY & MOBILITY

Wheelchairs & Scooters

  • Wheelchair assistance provided only during embarkation, disembarkation, and emergencies

  • Guests must bring their own mobility devices

  • Scooters/wheelchairs over 100 lbs (without battery) cannot be tendered

Tendering Limitations

  • Tender ports may not be accessible

  • Steep gangways and sea conditions can restrict mobility access

  • The Captain may deny or restrict tendering at any time for safety reasons

Final Authority

Safety decisions by the Captain or crew are final and do not entitle Guests to refunds or compensation.

19. PASSPORTS & VISAS

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining:

  • valid passports

  • visas (if required)

  • all travel documentation

Failure to present proper documents will result in denied boarding without refund.

20. EXCLUDED CHARGES

Not included in cruise fare:

  • Airfare

  • Hotels

  • Ground transfers

  • Specialty dining

  • Alcohol

  • Spa

  • Wi-Fi

  • Excursions

  • Onboard purchases

21. FUEL SURCHARGE

Holland America Line may impose a fuel surcharge (up to $10/day per person).
Guests must pay any surcharge, even if the cruise is fully paid.

22. LOYALTY PROGRAM LIMITATIONS

Guests should not rely on Holland America Line’s retail promotions, loyalty benefits, “Have It All,” Mariner Society perks, onboard credits, casino offers, or any retail cruise marketing.

No Holland America Line loyalty benefits apply on this private charter.

Only amenities listed by Dave Koz & Friends at Sea / Redwood Travel Partners apply.

23. ONBOARD EXPERIENCE DISCLAIMER

Amenities, services, and schedules may differ from retail Holland America sailings.
This charter includes custom programming that supersedes standard offerings.

24. GOVERNING LAW, ARBITRATION & JURY WAIVER

This Contract is governed by California law.

All disputes must be resolved by binding arbitration through AAA in Los Angeles County, CA.

Guests waive:

  • jury trial rights

  • class action participation

  • representative claims

Claims must be filed individually.

25. THIRD-PARTY BENEFICIARIES & LIABILITY LIMITATION

Liability limitations extend to:

  • Holland America Line

  • Ship owner/operator

  • Entertainers

  • Agents

  • Contractors

  • Vendors

  • Shore excursion operators

These parties are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce this Contract.

26. DISCLAIMER

Redwood Travel Partners, Dave Koz & Friends at Sea, Bridgeway Entertainment, IAG & W.F. Leopold Management, and Holland America Line are not responsible for:

  • airline or transportation delays

  • schedule changes

  • weather conditions

  • government actions

  • port authority decisions

  • medical care availability

  • illness, injury, theft, or damaged property

  • actions or omissions of independent contractors

  • missed connections or late arrivals

  • lost, stolen, or damaged luggage

Guests are responsible for arriving at the pier on time.
Missed departure does not entitle Guests to refunds or compensation.

27. TERMS SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Terms may be updated at any time.
Updated Terms apply immediately to all active and future reservations.
